Director of People and Culture
We are seeking to appoint a new Director of People and Culture to join Hearing Dogs for Deaf People at an exciting phase for the organisation.
Hearing Dogs for Deaf People are passionate about transforming deaf people’s lives and using dogs to do that. By training hearing dogs to not only become life-changers, they also become loyal, loving companions that unlock confidence and reduce isolation for those with hearing loss. An estimated 1.2 million people in the UK have severe or profound deafness, and 1 in 5 people in the UK have hearing loss – that’s 12 million people.
You will work closely with a brilliant new CEO at the helm, who will be leading the charity forward with a robust strategy that will enable Hearing Dogs for Deaf People to realise its ambitions and support more people with hearing loss.
As a member of the Executive Leadership team, our Director of People and Culture will help ensure that the target operating model remains dynamic and aligned to the overall business strategy. You will be working with a solid executive team and an effective Board of Trustees within a highly respected charity.
As an experienced Human Resources professional, you will bring energy and passion for creating a high performing, curious and inclusive workplace culture. You will play a significant role in driving organisational transformation, helping to shape and implement strategies to foster employee and volunteer engagement, and to ensure the attraction, development and retention of top talent.
