Quality Assurance Manager (Membership)

About the role

Supporting youth sector organisations to be the best they can be and increasing their access to resources and opportunities for development are at the core of the Membership and Sector Development team. The Quality Assurance Manager will lead on managing the delivery of all three Quality Mark levels (bronze, silver and gold) as well as the creation of new systems and processes to enable the launch and delivery of new silver and gold frameworks.

The Quality Assurance Manager will primarily engage with and support members undertaking our Quality Assurance Programme and, as a Senior Qualified Youth Work professional, will support and assess all three Quality Mark levels. With plans to increase resourcing of our quality assurance programme, this role will line manage the new Membership Development Officer (Quality Assurance), once approved, and will work alongside colleagues from the MSDT to deliver the programme. The post holder will introduce members to the framework via group workshops and 121 sessions; support members during their quality assurance journey by delivering support check in meetings, be available to answer questions; and support internal staff with delivering Quality Mark support to members.

The successful candidate will lead on the monitoring and evaluation of the programme, track member progress throughout their journey and manage the demand of the Quality Mark, to ensure that we maximise the impact of the products. The post holder will also lead on the implementation of the ‘young observers’ element to the assessment process for silver and gold Quality Marks.
