Description
The Membership Development Officer (Sector Development) will work closely with colleagues in the Membership team and across London Youth to deliver projects and initiatives to improve the strength and sustainability of London’s youth sector. The postholder will work primarily on the Mentoring Support Programme:
Mentoring Support Programme
In 2022 we were awarded funding by the GLA to work with our member Lifeline Projects to improve the quality of mentoring across the capital and enable more young people in need to benefit from mentoring programmes. This work runs in parallel with the Mayor’s Mentoring Quality Framework as part of the New Deal for Young People. We are working with organisations across the city to develop and improve high-quality mentoring offers for young people in their communities.The postholder will offer support to youth workers and programme leads through the different elements of the programme, and support the day to day functions required to deliver the programme effectively.
