Director of Volunteer Experience
Salary: £80,000 - £90,000
St John Ambulance is the nation’s leading first aid charity. We have always stepped forward in the moments that matter to save lives and support communities – including crucial support to the Covid vaccination programme. Every year we mobilise more than 15,000 volunteers in support of this mission as youth leaders, educators and providing first aid at community events in towns and cities across England.
With a new strategy centred around the ambition to save lives through community first aid, we plan to work with our committed volunteers to reimagine what local St John Ambulance Units look like and re-orientate our volunteer efforts towards training the public in basic lifesaving skills. Together we believe this will increase our impact in communities and ensure more lives are saved.
To lead this effort we have created a new, substantial leadership post, the Director of Volunteer Experience. Together with our experienced volunteer leaders, you’ll lead our ambitious plans to ensure every community has a thriving St John presence.
