Description
Every day TCV works across the UK to create healthier and happier communities for everyone - communities where our activities have a lasting impact on people's health, prospects and outdoor places.
The Conservation Volunteers brings people together to create, improve and care for green spaces. From local parks and community gardens to nature reserves and Site of Special Scientific Interest, waterways, wetlands and woodlands, we connect people to the green spaces that form a vital part of any healthy happy community.
With a 64-year history dedicated to improving the environment, our team of passionate staff and volunteers work with communities across England, Northern Ireland and Scotland, with the vision of creating healthier, happier communities for everyone. Last year TCV worked with over 87,000 people to deliver over 107,000 workdays and transform over 1,300 green spaces.
We now have an exciting opportunity for an inspirational and strategic leader to become our new CEO.
You will bring a passion for the environment, community, and green space coupled with a strong understanding of, and ideally experience in, voluntary organisations. Your strategic capability will enable us to develop and deliver a focused and transformative strategy, with clear and impactful priorities and programmes. With demonstrable commercial acumen, you will enable TCV to grow from our existing £11m annual income, strengthening our partnerships, expanding our reach, and increasing our income. As a visible leader and excellent communicator, you will raise our profile to become a household name across the UK.
Candidates can be based anywhere in the UK. The CEO will need to be willing to travel nationally and to spend time in our main office in Doncaster.
